It lives, it lives
Hey ho, I haven't been very good at this blogging thing lately. I got back from Australia three weeks ago and I've been a bit under the weather since - jetlag followed by a virus, what fun. I had an amazingly fantastic time though - Australia is an incredible place and I can't wait to go back.
last week was just a complete and utter wash-out; I didn't want to do anything and felt quite depressed. Yesterday was the first day I felt that I achieved anything in more than a week: I went to my knitting group in the afternoon, which was a blast as usual and then in the evening I phoned a couple of people, which I'm incredibly bad at doing so it was good to get it done.
I feel much more like myself today and I've had a more positive day. I made lots of phone calls, sorted out lots of stuff too. I always like it when I have 'a doing day' on Monday, it gets the week off to a flying start. I also went out to the library to collect some books, had a nice little walk, took some pictures with my new camera. Yes I bought a new camera; my trip to Australia really showed me the limitations of the existing one, so with the last of my trip money, I splashed out on one with a better lens that has a much better zoom. If anyone's interested (who knows, some of you could be camera whores like me!), I wrote about it on my art blog.
